This initially reminded me a bit of SPC Mississippi River, and after some poking around realized this was also similar to Fusilier’s Ration (which I would prefer less than this). It’s of a similar crumble cake form, with that tart note I enjoy. Room note was outstanding- better than the flavor.

I have two Brighams that I’ve bought because of your video, they have quickly become my favorite pipes. I’m a wet smoker and I’ve never had a single gurgle with these. Thank you MuttnChop!

A churchwarden pipe looks very similar to a candle snuffer used in the past. It could be that it had a double role.

I've tried some excellent (and awful) blends in my 20+ years of piping and while I have several in my regular rotation (Sutliff Aromatic English, Lane Limited 1-Q, Sherlock Holmes, and a full battery of codger blends) the one I reach for most often is my can of Granger. It's a mild, tasty smoke, no bite, smokes cool and dry, and has the perfect balance of flavor for my palate. It's light enough for warm Summer evenings and savory enough for cool Fall or Winter nights. And the flavor profile is absolutely perfect for those evenings when you just want to puff and think without being distracted by mystery toppings or 1,000 different flavors.

what was it like having your pipe are the festival? could you smoke it anywhere or was it designated areas or only on camp grounds and such? Will be bringing mine this year

I have a 3 pocket fanny pack I use to carry my stuff(Pipe, tobacco, tamper and lighter). Being a former cigarette smoker and switched to pipe tobacco about 2 and a half years ago, I usually don’t carry out my pipe unless I know I can dedicate enough time to smoke. If I’m running errands, I usually leave my pipe at home. If I’m going to a barbecue or hanging out with friends or family, then I’ll carry it with me. But it’s a very nice bag. Maybe when the time comes and my bag wears out, I’ll look into the one you have. Thanks for the video.

Breast pocket shirt and a leather pipe case with a built in tobacco pouch. They’ve served me well since I’ve been smokin. If I showed up wearing this I’d probobly get beat up.

The Country Squire also has these great little travel jars. Basically uses a mason jar lid but it’s only an inch tall so holds a few bowls worth of tobacco. Great for on the go use!

Got a similar pouch as a free goodie with a tactical belt I bought years ago. Have been using it for my pipes ever since.

I never got to try Nightwatch. The two tins I bought last year had mold in them. 😢 So I never bought anymore.

For me, i have opened Savinelli website and they have all pipe shapes and models they make, I’ve been staring at all the models and got the one that really stuck my eyes to it. It was Dry System 614.

People have been using tobacco 15,000 years. Its not this complicated. Take a deep breath through your mouth while smoking, regularly. Smoke what you want.
